Tyler Glasnow Expected To Start Saturday's Pirates Game

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pittsburgh Pirates announced Saturday afternoon that Tyler Glasnow has been recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis.

The Pirates say Glasnow is expected to start Saturday afternoon's game against the Philadelphia Phillies at PNC Park. Glasnow made his Major League debut earlier this month in St. Louis. This will be his home debut.

Right-handed pitcher A.J. Schugel was optioned to Indianapolis to make room for Glasnow.

In other roster moves, catcher Eric Fryer was placed on the paternity list after his wife gave birth to twins Saturday morning, and catcher Elias Diaz has been recalled from Indianapolis.
