Two Teens Shot In Highland Park

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Two people were rushed to the hospital Saturday after a shooting in Highland Park.

Police say around 3:30 p.m., a ShotSpotter notification indicated that seven rounds had been fired in the 5000 block on Stanton Avenue.

When officers arrived on scene, they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds on Samantha Way.

Paramedics transported the victims, a 18-year-old from Homestead and a 17-year-old from Hazelwood, to UPMC Presbyterian.

They are in stable condition.

Four males were seen running in the area of the shooting and a firearm was found at the scene.

The Group Violence Intervention Unit is continuing the investigation.
