Two Restaurants In Pittsburgh Cited For Food-Safety Violations

PITTSBURGH (KDKA)-  Rudy's Grill in McKees Rocks and the Golden Gate Restaurant in Clairton both violated food-safety regulations, according to the Allegheny County Health Department.

Rudy's Grill reportedly had dirty walls and ceilings, unsafe cold holding, unsafe hot holding, certified manager not present, toxic items improperly labeled that were stored or used, inadequate sewage disposal, inadequate sanitation and foods not protected from cross-contamination.

The Golden Gate Restaurant, a Chinese-themed facility, had a roof that leaked and holes that resulted from damaged plaster on the ceiling right above the lobby/serving area.

Neither establishment has commented on their respective consumer alerts.
