Triple shooting in Hazelwood leaves 1 person dead
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- An overnight triple shooting in Hazelwood is being investigated as a homicide.
One victim is dead from their injuries and two others are in the hospital after gunshots were fired in the 200 block of Johnston Avenue after 12:30 a.m.
Two victims were found when police arrived, one was taken to the hospital via ambulance in critical condition while the other was transported via private vehicle.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the young man killed as 18-year-old Darrian Davis of West Homestead.
A third victim arrived at the hospital around 6 a.m. with a graze wound.
Witnesses on the scene told police they saw the gunshots come from a dark-colored sedan.
