Two Pedestrians Transported After Being Hit By Cars In Separate Incidents On California Avenue

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – There are two separate pedestrian vs. car accidents on California Avenue on Pittsburgh's North Side on Monday night, with one victim transported to the hospital from each scene.

The first occurred around 8 p.m. on the 2600 block of California Avenue, considered the Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood of Pittsburgh. The incident involved a child, who was transported to the hospital. There is currently no word on his condition.

The second accident occurred at 8:27 p.m. at the corner of California and Davis avenues in Brighton Heights. The victim in that incident was reportedly an older woman. There is currently no word on the condition of the victim.

The accident is currently under investigation. California Avenue was closed from Davis Avenue to Fairlee Street.
