Two Injured In I-376 Wrong Way Crash

BEAVER COUNTY (KDKA) -- Two people were injured in a car crash that happened in Brighton Township early Saturday morning.

The crash happened just before 2:30 a.m. on I-376 East.

According to state police, a 21-year-old woman from Beaver was driving northbound in the southbound lane of I-376 East and crashed into a vehicle that was traveling southbound.

She and the driver of the other vehicle, a 32-year-old man from Rockton, were both sent to UPMC Presbyterian.

The severity of their injuries is unknown.

State police say the woman was not wearing a seat belt.
