Steelers Partial Owner Thomas Tull Donates $4.2 Million To Local Hospitals

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Thomas Tull made a substantial donation to hospitals serving mainly black communities.

The local billionaire and partial owner of the Steelers donated $4.2 million to the hospitals.

The number was in honor of Jackie Robinson's famous jersey number, 42. The donation came on the anniversary of the day Robinson made his MLB debut.

Tull was also the producer of the Jackie Robinson biopic "42."
