Trent Green: Steelers Need To Alter Red Zone Philosophy
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Former pro bowl quarterback Trent Green joined The Fan Morning Show on Friday to preview Sunday's Steelers vs. Browns game, which he will be calling for the NFL on CBS.
During the interview, Green talked about the Steelers' red zone struggles and what they might do to try to remedy those issues.
"Once you get down in there tight, I would think that they're going to utilize Heath [Miller] a little bit more and try to run the ball a little bit more... as good as a year as Antonio Brown's having, as good as a last couple years that Antonio Brown's having, I don't know if necessarily down in there tight is his best area, just because he's a 5'10", 185 pound guy, as opposed to some of the bigger receivers that are taking over the red zone part of the field."
Steelers vs. Browns kicks off at 1 p.m., and the game can be seen nationally on CBS and locally on KDKA-TV, with Green and Greg Gumbel calling the action from Cleveland.
