Tractor-Trailer Driver Injured After Crashing Into Wash. Co. Toll Booth

CALIFORNIA, Pa. (KDKA) – A tractor-trailer driver was injured after crashing into a Washington County toll booth Wednesday morning.

According to emergency dispatchers, the accident happened on the Mon-Fayette Expressway at the Interstate 70 toll plaza.

The truck apparently slid on ice and crashed into the toll booth.

The driver was transported to a local hospital, but there is no word about the extent of the injuries.

The truck's gas tank ruptured, but the resulting spill has been cleaned up.
