Tractor-Trailer Crash Blocks Lanes On I-70 In Washington Co.

FALLOWFIELD TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A crash involving a tractor-trailer shut down the part of Interstate 70 in Washington County this afternoon.

According to emergency officials, the accident happened just after 4 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-70 in Fallowfield Township near mile marker 35.

No other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported.

However, officials say the Hazmat team had to be called in for a diesel spill.

Also, the crash blocked both westbound lanes of traffic, which reopened hours later, around 8:30 p.m.
