Tractor Trailer Accident Causing Traffic Jam On I-70 In Washington Co.

BUFFALO TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A accident involving multiple tractor trailers backed up traffic Thursday night on Interstate 70 in Washington County.

The accident happened around 6 p.m. on the eastbound side of the road between the Claysville and Taylorstown exits in Buffalo Township.

According to PennDOT, all lanes in the area had to be closed to traffic. As of 10 p.m., the road was still shut down as crews cleared the scene.

NewsChopper 2 showed a tractor trailer on its side and traffic backed up for miles just after the accident.
