Toyota Recalls 3 Models Due To Stability Issues

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Toyota is recalling some of its most popular 2016 models.

The vehicles involved are the Toyota Rav 4, Lexus RX 350 and Lexus ES 350.

According to the Toyota website, the involved models include a Brake Actuator assembly that enables enhanced brake control functions including the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control (TRAC), and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), among others.

There is reportedly a possibility that a component inside the actuator could have been damaged, preventing it from functioning properly.

This could cause a loss of vehicle stability control, increasing the risk of crash.

Owners will be notified by mail. Dealers will replace affected parts.
