Top 6 Overweight Athletes Of All-Time

When you think of professional athletes, you think of elite skill and plenty of hours spent in the gym.

We hear plenty of reports about off-season training and how hard professional athletes work to keep their bodies in top shape.

Every once in a while, we come across a dominant athlete that doesn't exactly fit that mold.

They might be a little overweight, but they still get the job done as good as anyone.

So, 93-7 The Fan's Joe Starkey and Chris Mueller sat down and came up with some of the best, shall we say "overweight" athletes of all-time.

No. 5 - George Foreman – "By the end of his career, he looked like he weighed at least 500 pounds. His head probably weighed 250," Starkey said.

No. 4 - Tony Gwynn – "Maybe the greatest pure hitter of this generation," Mueller said.

No. 3 - John Daly – "I love him for the fact that he was totally unapologetic about it all. Guzzling Diet Coke, Peanut M&M's and smoking cigarettes," Starkey said.

No. 2 - William "The Refrigerator" Perry – "He scored touchdowns and ran the ball too!" Mueller said.

No. 1 - Babe Ruth – "How can it be anyone other than Babe Ruth?" Mueller said.
