Slippery Rock Twp. Store Robbed At Gunpoint

SLIPPERY ROCK TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Police are searching for a man who robbed a Slippery Rock Township convenience store at gunpoint Saturday night.

It happened at the Tic Toc Convenience Store located at 2135 Ellwood Road around 9:30 p.m.

State police say the suspect entered the store, brandished a handgun and demanded money from the two clerks behind the counter. They gave him an undetermined amount of cash from the register, and he fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, between 5-feet-9-inches and 5-feet-11-inches tall and weighing about 180 lbs. He has light brown or blonde hair.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black bandanna that partially covered his lower face, a black hoodie and blue jeans.

He was last seen running east across the roadway.
