Thousands Participate In Annual Turkey Trot Downtown

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - Thousands of runners descended hit the Pittsburgh streets this morning for the 25th annual Turkey Trot.

The event included a family fun run at 8 a.m., followed by a 5K and then the five-mile race.

Runners wound their way along the North Shore near PNC Park, as well as near Fort Duquesne Boulevard, Commonwealth Place, and the Boulevard of the Allies.
