Third Exchange Store Robbed At Gunpoint

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police were called to a store in Squirrel Hill after it was robbed at gunpoint.

It happened at the Exchange on Forbes Avenue.

The store buys and sells used CDs, DVDs and video games.

Police say there were employees and customers in the store at the time.

The robber did have a gun, but didn't use it on anyone and no one was hurt.

A customer who was in the store today described the robber as soft spoken man, overheard him telling a clerk, "give me the money, if anybody comes close I'm going to blast them."

This is the third Exchange store to be robbed in the last few weeks.

The Exchange in Ross Township was robbed earlier this month and so was the one in Monroeville before that.

Police think the robberies may be related.
