Thieves Nab $15,000 Worth Of iPads From Walmart

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A pair of thieves stole $15,000 worth of iPads from a local Walmart.

The Observer-Reporter says the thieves took the iPads just after midnight Friday from the Walmart in Brownsville.

Video surveillance from Walmart shows an African American male and female, who is possibly pregnant, enter the store with a shopping cart.

They walk through the store knowing what they are looking for. The male begins loading the carts with $15,000 worth of iPad Airs.

Then they escape through one of the emergency exits.

"Throughout the store, they stole $15,000 worth of iPad Air 2s from the high merchandise area and fled the scene in possibly a gold Ford Taurus," said State Police Tpr. John Peters.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
