Teenager Injured In Butler Co. Treehouse Collapse

ADAMS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A teenager was seriously injured in a treehouse collapse over the weekend in Butler County.

According to the Butler Eagle, the 16-year-old boy was impaled in his hip by a piece of wood during the collapse, which happened just before 6 p.m. Saturday on Kaufman Run Boulevard in Adams Township.

The teen suffered severe bleeding as a result, the Butler Eagle reports.

He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment.

There's been no word on his condition.

It's not known if the teen was in the treehouse or just nearby at the time of the collapse.
