Teenager Critically Injured In East Liberty Shooting

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A 14-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital Friday afternoon after he was shot in East Liberty.

According to Pittsburgh Police, the shooting happened just after 4:30 p.m. at Ipswich Court.

Police say the teenager was standing outside in between housing units when he was shot.

The victim has not been identified.

But police say he was taken to Children's Hospital in critical condition.

Police continue to investigate.
