Teenager Grazed By Bullet In Mt. Washington

MT. WASHINGTON (KDKA) -- A 15-year-old girl was injured when a shot was fired in Mt. Washington on Saturday night.

The incident happened around 9:25 p.m. in the 300-block of Virginia Avenue.

Police say the victim, from Mt. Oliver, was grazed in her left arm by a bullet after one shot was fired by a group of three black males. The victim entered a convenience store after she was injured.

Paramedics and officers were sent to the scene, and the victim was transported to UPMC Mercy in stable condition.

The suspects were wearing all black at the time of the shooting. There is no further information on the suspects.

The investigation is ongoing.
