Teen Girls Found After Running Away While On Field Trip To Sandcastle
WEST HOMESTEAD (KDKA) -- Police say two teenage girls from the Zelienople area who ran away while on a field trip to Sandcastle last week have been found.
According to West Homestead Police, 15-year-old Kaylee Moretti and 12-year-old Nyzjayah Majors had last been seen around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at the water park.
The two were on a field trip with the Glade Run Lutheran Services, which is in Zelienople.
Police say both girls have medical issues and need medication daily. They have no local ties, and did not have any money or take cell phones with them.
According to authorities, the girls were located in Penn Hills.
Police gave no other update on their conditions, other than they are both being evaluated.
