Teen Charged As Adult In Dunbar Twp. Fatal Shooting

DUNBAR TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A teenager is charged as an adult after a fatal shooting in Fayette County.

State police say the shooting happened inside a home on Hustosky Road in Dunbar Township.

Authorities say the suspect and victim were sitting around with a group of friends, eating pizza and watching television. A gun was on the table and it somehow went off.

Andrew Hustosky, 17, has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of 22-year-old William Little IV.

"He'd do anything for anybody. He loved life. He loved just being alive," said William Little III, the victim's father. "We hunted together, fished together, four-wheel drive, off-road together. He was a big chunk of my life. I will definitely miss him."

How did this happen is what state police are trying to figure out.

"It's just an avoidable accident," said William Hustosky, the suspect's cousin. "They didn't have respect for a gun."

Hustosky's family is shocked and saddened over the tragedy. They maintain it was an accident, but law enforcement is treating it like a homicide.

"One life is gone from the earth. How many lives are torn apart?" said William.

"We went to his favorite place called the Tee Pee in Wendell, drove my GMC, got out two beers, opened one poured it on the ground for my son. I saved the tabs, the last beer I'll ever have with my boy," said Little's father.

Andrew Hustosky is charged with criminal homicide. He's been arraigned and is being held in the Fayette County Prison.
