Tanker Truck Crashes, Lands In Ditch In Fawn Twp.
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Emergency crews were called to Fawn Township Sunday after a tanker truck crashed into a ditch.
According to emergency dispatchers, the accident happened around 7 a.m. on Route 908 at the intersection of Lardintown Road.
The truck was reportedly hauling sand. The driver missed a road closed sign warning that a bridge was being rebuilt and drove the tanker off the road and into a ditch.
No injuries were reported.
Officials are investigating the cause of the accident.
Crews spent most of the day pulling the truck out of the ditch.
