Takata Airbag Recall Expanded to More Vehicles

WASHINGTON (KDKA)- Several automakers are expanding their recalls when it comes to defective Takata airbags.

More than half a dozen automakers added more vehicles to the recall list, including six foreign automakers and one American car maker. The recalled vehicles include BMWs, Volkswagens, Chryslers, Fords and Hondas.

Since the deficiencies were found in Takata airbags, there have been over 40 recalls involving more than 19 million vehicles.
