SWAT Team Surrounds Home In Rochester Borough In A 3 Hour Standoff

ROCHESTER (KDKA) -- A SWAT team surrounded a home in Rochester Borough on Saturday night.

Rochester Police were there to arrest 32-year-old Tony Moore for auto theft, and Moore refused to surrender. Police called for assistance from the Emergency Service Unit.

The standoff was on Adams Street and shut down several roads for three hours. Moore surrounded and was taken into custody. He will likely be charged with at least one felony related to auto theft.

No one sustained any injuries.

The call came into authorities just after 7:30 p.m.
