Man Surrenders To Police After Stabbing In Elliott

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- SWAT officers were on the scene of a stabbing in Pittsburgh's West End.
Officers responded Thursday night to the 900 block of Wilhelm Street in Elliott after a dispute involving a father and son. Police say the adult son was slashed across the arm and stomach but remained on the scene.
Police say the victim came out of the house, but the father barricaded himself inside. Police later made contact with the father, who surrendered without incident.
The man faces assault charges, police say.
