Suspect Sought In Bethel Park Armed Bank Robbery

BETHEL PARK (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after an armed bank robbery this afternoon in Bethel Park.

It happened just before 4 p.m. at the Northwest Savings Bank in the 6200-block of Library Road.

The suspect was wearing a black-colored, puffy ski jacket, gray-colored hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, blue jeans and black gloves with white designs.

He was about six-foot tall with a thin build.

Emergency officials say he was also carrying a black handgun.

The suspect was last seen heading north towards Route 88 towards the West Library Crossing Trolley Stop.

He got away with about $3,000.
