Suspect In Wilkins Twp. Apartment Shooting Turns Himself In

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The suspect in a shooting that prompted a lockdown of an apartment complex in Wilkins Township earlier this week is now in police custody.

Timothy Brown, 26, turned himself into police Thursday afternoon.

Brown is the suspect in the shooting on Monday at the Laurel Village apartments on Penn Center Avenue.

Police say the incident started as a fight between Brown and his cousin, Aaron Thornton-Blalock.

He was listed in critical condition at last report, but is expected to survive his wounds.

Brown is facing charges of aggravated assault, attempted homicide, weapons violations and recklessly endangering another person.
