Man Acquitted In Assault Of Steelers' Lineman Arrested For Violating Probation
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- One of the men acquitted last year in the assault of Pittsburgh Steelers' lineman Mike Adams was arrested in Beaver County Thursday evening.
Michael Paranay, 27, of Hazelwood, was taken into custody for violating his probation on a gun conviction.
Earlier this month, Paranay was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license in Harmony, Beaver County.
Also, just last week, he was arrested in Ambridge after a fight outside a bar, and then he allegedly stole everything from the victim's pockets.
Paranay was one of three men a jury found not guilty last year in the stabbing of Adams outside of a sandwich shop on Pittsburgh's South Side in June of 2013.
Adams filed a lawsuit last month against Paranay and the other two suspects acquitted in the incident, Jerrell Whitlock and Dquay Means. A jury found the three not guilty in April of last year.
