Susan Koeppen's Lucky Dress To Be Auctioned Off For Charity

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- It was the lucky dress that helped bring the Stanley Cup back to Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Now that lucky dress could be hanging in your closet.

The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation is auctioning off KDKA-TV anchor Susan Koeppen's lucky dress and the proceeds will go to support the foundation charity.

For $20, you can be the winner of the lucky dress plus four (4) tickets to the Pittsburgh Penguins 2016-17 season home opener, where the 2016 Stanley Cup Champions banner will be raised!

All proceeds will benefit the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh's Heart Camp.

Koeppen started the tradition of wearing the dress during Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

After the Penguins won Game 6, she thought maybe she should wear it again for Game 7.

So, she took to Facebook.

"I put it on Facebook and everyone agreed I should wear the dress again," Koeppen said.
