Supergirl Comes to The CW!

Well... the rumors are true. Supergirl will move from CBS to the CW for its second season. News of the renewal came hours after the most recent deadline for CBS to make a renewal decision on the freshman superhero series. Supergirl will expand the CW DC superhero universe and join the other three series from producer Greg Berlanti - The Flash, Arrow and DC's Legends Of Tomorrow.

According to Deadline, "The CW frequently had been mentioned as a suitable home for Supergirl because of the show's young skew, the CW president Mark Pedowitz's public comments about regretting not going after the project when it was originally pitched, and the fact that the CW is co-owned by CBS and Warner Bros."

Starting August 1st, Two Encore Episodes of "Supergirl" Will Air Each Monday Night (8pm and 9pm) Until The New Season of "Supergirl" Premieres on October 10th!
