Local Elementary Schools Holds Fundraiser For Kindergartner With Brain Tumor

IRWIN, Pa. (KDKA) -- Some elementary school students held a very special fundraiser for a classmate with a brain tumor on her optic nerve.

The kids at Sunrise Elementary in the Penn-Trafford School District collected 1,500 toys and $2,300 for Children's Hospital.

The collection was in honor of kindergartener Lilli Durante, who has a brain tumor and is undergoing treatment at Children's.

The toys and money will be delivered on Friday.
