Subaru Recalls Over 660,000 Vehicles Over Brake Concerns

Subaru is recalling more than 660,000 cars and SUVs because the brake lines may rust out and start leaking brake fluid.

The affected models include:

  • 2005 through 2009 Legacies and Outbacks.
  • 2008 through 2014 Imprezas
  • 2009 through 2013 Foresters.

The company says brine solution and salt used on the roads in the winter can cause the lines to rust.

Dealers will replace the affected brake lines if necessary and apply an anti-corrosion wax.
