Study On How Commuters Get To Work & How Long It Takes Them

Officials in Pittsburgh want to know how commuters get to work in the city and how long it takes them.

The city has launched a new survey called "Make My Trip Count."

Organizers say it takes ten minutes to complete, and will help them gather information that could be used in making future decisions about public transportation.

"There are a lot of different transportation projects out there," said Green Building Alliance's Aurora Sharrod. "If we put more information that's accurate with what's going on with commuters, behind the decisions, then hopefully what comes out of it is great for all of us."

People who take the survey will be entered to win Penguins tickets or a free Port Authority pass, good for one month.
