Steelers, Sixth Round Draft Pick Agree To Terms

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced the signing of their first player from the 2015 draft class.

Defensive end L.T. Walton out of Central Michigan has agreed to the standard rookie contract of four years.

According to the team, no terms of the deal have been disclosed.

The 6-foot-5-inch, 319-pound Walton, the Steelers' 6th round pick in the draft (199th overall), was named a 2014 first-team All-MAC player.

During his college career, Walton recorded 106 tackles, six sacks and 18.5 tackles-for-a-loss to go along with three pass breakups, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery in 39 games.
