Steelers Sign Tackle Marcus Gilbert To New 6-Year Deal

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced a new six-year contract with tackle Marcus Gilbert that will keep him with the team through the 2019 season.

The second-round pick from the 2011 draft is entering his fourth season with the Steelers, having started 34-of-35 games in the regular season.

In 2013, Gilbert started all 16 games at right tackle, the only Steelers offense linemen to start every regular-season contest.
