Steelers Sign 2 Undrafted Free Agents Following Mini-Camp Tryouts

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Following their rookie mini-camp tryouts with the Steelers, running back Cameron Stingily and defensive lineman Mike Thornton have signed three-year deals with the team.

The 6-foot-1-inch, 235-pound Stingily played in 35 games at Northern Illinois, carrying the ball 397 times for 2,095 yards and 23 touchdowns.

The 6-foot-1-inch, 296-pound Thornton played in four games at Georgia, starting 10 of them, all of which came in the 2014 season.

The Steelers also announced the release of defensive tackle Nigel Crawford-Kinney, punter Richie Leone and defensive end Bradon Prate.
