Steelers Selecting Cornerback In Latest Mock Draft

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - With holes to fill in their secondary, the latest CBS Sports mock draft has the Steelers drafting a cornerback with their 22nd overall pick.

According to CBSSports.com's Rob Rang, the Steelers are projected to draft Wake Forest cornerback Kevin Johnson in the first round.

As Rang points out, some analysts consider Johnson the best cover cornerback in the draft.

The Demon Deacon senior recorded 123 tackles during his four years at Wake Forest to go along with seven interceptions and 38 passes defended.

Other highlights of Rang's mock draft include West Virginia wide receiver Kevin White being drafted fourth overall by the Oakland Raiders and Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota dropping to the number six pick and the New York Jets.
