Steelers Re-Sign Offensive Lineman Guy Whimper

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced the signing of a one-year deal with veteran offensive lineman Guy Whimper.

In his one season with the Steelers, Whimper saw action is 11 games, starting two of them, one at left guard and one at right guard.

Whimper was originally drafted in the fourth round (129th overall) in the 2006 NFL Draft out of East Carolina by the New York Giants.  After four seasons with the Giants, Whimper went on to play three season with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
