PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – It's been nearly 40-years since the iconic Super Bowl commercial featuring "Mean" Joe Greene and a kid with a bottle of Coke first aired.

Ahead of Super Bowl 50, the two are reuniting in a new video honoring the ad and their bond.

People Magazine has a clip of the segment which is slated to air during a Super Bowl's Greatest Commercials 2016 special on CBS.

Pittsburgh Steelers legend "Mean" Joe Greene and an all-grown-up Tommy Okon are reunited at a football stadium in Texas.

The legendary commercial debuted in October of 1979, but gained its fame after airing during Super Bowl XIV in 1980.
