Steelers, Kicker Shaun Suisham Sign Contract Extension

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - The Pittsburgh Steelers have announced a contract extension with Kicker Shaun Suisham that will keep him with the team through the 2018 season.

Last year, Suisham was 30 of 32 on his field goal attempts and is 182 of 219 in his career. His 30 field goals last year tied as the third-most in team history in a single season.

Since signing with the Steelers in 2010, Suisham has made 95 of 109 field goals and all of his 128 extra point attempts for 412 points.

Suisham entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green with Pittsburgh in 2005 and had stints with the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins.
