Steelers Insider Bouchette: Stars Should Stay In Bed During Preseason

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) - The Pittsburgh Steelers are heading to Latrobe again to get ready for another season and a shot at a seventh Super Bowl championship.

Steelers insider Ed Bouchette joined the "KDKA Morning News" to preview the 2016 trip to St. Vincent College and why he thinks the stars should stay off the field in the preseason.

Bouchette says the Steelers need to rest their top stars if they want to be successful.

"One of the big things they have to do is stay healthy and that not something you can probably coach or do anything about," said Bouchette. "If it were me, I would tell about a dozen players to stay in your bed...You're not playing in these four preseason games either."

Bouchette admits it wouldn't be much fun for the fans heading to Latrobe or going to the preseason games, but it would be best for the team.
