Steelers Reduce Roster To 75

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Pittsburgh Steelers cut nine players from the roster Tuesday morning and more cuts are expected.

According to a statement from the team, running backs Jordan Hall and Miguel Maysonet, wide receivers C.J. Goodwin and Kashif Moore, tight end Eric Waters, safety Jordan Dangerfield, cornerbacks Devin Smith and Lewis Toler, and linebacker Vic So'oto were all released.

As a result of these cuts, the Steelers' roster is at 81 players.

Six more cuts will be made today as NFL teams have until 4 p.m. to reduce their roster size to 75 players.

The Steelers have until 4 p.m. Saturday to reduce the roster to 53 players.

Update: The Steelers have announced their remaining cuts to reduce the roster to 75.  Offensive Linemen Chris Elkins and Emmanuel McCray, Defensive Linemen Hebron Fangupo and Brian Arnfelt, Long Snapper Luke Ingram and Running Back Tauren Poole have all been released.
