Steelers Continue To Make Roster Moves

PITTSBURGH (93.7 THE FAN) - As the 2014 NFL season approaches, the Pittsburgh Steelers continue to make roster moves in order to become compliant under the new salary cap guidelines.

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo joined Colin Dunlap Monday night on 93.7 The Fan to discuss the Steelers' most recent moves.

Early Monday, news broke that the Steelers would release OLB Lamar Woodley and Colin asked Fittipaldo to react to the team's move.

Fittipaldo told Colin, "I think it was a move that had to be made, I think at this point Woodley is the older player among the three (Woodley, Worilds and Jones), he is the most expensive."

Colin and Fittipaldo also discussed the huge contract that Woodley was given a few years back and Fittipaldo told Colin, "Woodley's contract because of his health situation the last couple years turned out to be a bad contract."
