Steelers: Bell Ruled Out For Wild Card Game

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Steelers announced Friday that Le'Veon Bell officially will not play in Saturday's wild card game against the Ravens.

It's been speculated that Bell would not play Saturday after he hyperextended his right knee during the Cincinnati Bengals game.

Despite the injury, many still held out hope he could recover in time for the Ravens game.

Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger told The Fan recently that Bell would do anything he could to be ready for the game and that he's been in good spirits.

Alas, the team will have to start playoffs without Bell.

The Steelers will take on the Ravens at home Saturday at 8:15 p.m. Preview the action here.
