Steelers Activate Wide Receiver Martavis Bryant

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - With his 4-game suspension over, the Pittsburgh Steelers have announced the activation of wide receiver Martavis Bryant.

The troubled received served a 4-game suspension for multiple failed drug tests and then missed the teams week 5 game against the San Diego Chargers with a knee injury.

With Bryant back on the roster, the Steelers passing game should be able to reach the next level as Bryant added 26 catches for 549 yards and 8 touchdowns in just 10 games in 2014.

To make room on the 53-man roster, the Steelers have released special teamer Ross Ventrone.
