Steel Worker Dies 2 Weeks After Injury At Clairton Plant

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – OSHA is investigating a fatal accident at a steel plant in Clairton.

Officials say 64-year-old Russell Brown died Friday night from injuries he suffered about two weeks ago.

US Steel says Brown stepped into hot water Jan. 31.

According to our news partners at the Post-Gazette, he was working in the quench tower, which is used to cool coke.

Officials are continuing to investigate.
