State Representative Matt Dowling Remains Hospitalized After Car Crash

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A local lawmaker is still in the hospital, more than a week after he was injured in a car crash.

State Representative Matt Dowling represents part of Fayette and Somerset counties.

According to PennLive, Dowling is still in a hospital in Lancaster.

Police in Lancaster say that Dowling may have suffered a diabetic episode when he crashed his car into a fence and a tree.

The crash occurred last week. Dowling had to be treated for "significant trauma."
