State Police Looking For Woman Who Escaped Correction Center

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Police are looking for a woman who escaped from a correction center Thursday.

Police say Ashley Shuey, of Punxsutawney, was at the Renewal Community Correction Center serving time for DUI and other drug charges.

Shuey was allegedly seen on video kicking open and emergency exit door and leaving through a fire escape.

Shuey is described as blond with blue eyes, 5 feet 3 inches tall, white and has several tattoos, including one of stars, a scorpion, an angel, sun and a tribal tattoo.

Anyone with information is asked to call State Police at 412-299-1607.
