Pennsylvania State Police Seize $43 Million Worth Of Illegal Drugs in 2019

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Pennsylvania State Police say troopers confiscated more than $8 million worth of drugs between October and December 2019.

That included almost 8 pounds of cocaine, more than 40 pounds of heroin and 60 pounds of fentanyl.

In total, troopers seized more than $43 million worth of illegal drugs in 2019.

Police say they also collected more than 800 pounds of prescription drugs during their drug take-back program.
